Sing-Students in grades K-6 will sing in church this Sunday at 10:00am. We will follow the same procedure as the last time we sang. Mrs. Fritz will lead the song.
Parent's Day - Friday, October 23, parents are invited to spend the morning in our classroom, dismissing at 11:30am. If a parent is unable to attend a relative or friend may come instead. We will have a Grandparent's Day in March. The morning will begin with chapel, followed by classroom activities.
Substitute- Mrs. Voge came into our classroom this morning at 11:15am. until the end of school so that I could go taste cakes with my daughter, Amy, who flew in from Connecticut to continue planning her wedding. I will also be gone for part of the day on Monday. No assignment sheets will come home today. No homework will go home so that I can wrap up the grading for the quarter. Report cards will come home on Parent's Day.

Second Grade Parents
Please remember to sign your child's assignment sheet. He/she will receive a detention if you do not sign. Please check your child's homework. We have had quite a few detentions lately due to incomplete work.
Field Trip
I had sad news this week from the Pumpkin Train in Fishers. No other school signed up for the tour, so we will be unable to go. We are too small a group to afford the $360 fee. The economy is affecting schools as well. I will have to look for an alternative trip.
