With more than 100 years of proud Christian and Lutheran history, Emmaus has been a cornerstone of service and witness to the Fountain Square community and the near downtown area of Indianapolis. Our congregation has multi-generational families attending, some of which have ties to our founding members. With over 670 baptized members and over 470 communicant members, and an average Sunday attendance of 230, Emmaus is still one of the most growing and active churches in the area. Our church and school boards and service ministries offer numerous opportunities for fellowship, service, education, and Christian fun. A member of the growing Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), we support domestic and foreign outreach missions that bring the Word and care of Christ to the nations.
